Meet the Founder: Hiam
With over a decade of experience as a contestant, queen, and international director, Hiam brings a deep understanding of the transformative power of pageantry to build confidence, develop leadership, and create platforms for meaningful advocacy that drive lasting change.
After years of involvement and achievement in American pageantry — including making history as the first Bangladeshi-American Miss World America National Delegate and training alongside former Miss USAs and Miss Universe delegates — I realized the transformative skills, expert training, and confidence I gained through pageantry. Recognizing the absence of a similar platform in Bangladesh, I felt compelled to create an opportunity for my Bangladeshi sisters to experience the same empowerment.
At just nineteen years old, I founded the Miss Bangladesh US Organization with a vision to reshape perceptions of Bangladeshi women and address women's issues in society, transforming stigma into advocacy and empowerment. This platform is a heartfelt reflection of my commitment to women's empowerment and my mission to equip young Bangladeshi women with the tools they need to become the next generation of global leaders and changemakers.
Through extensive learning and development programming, we are cultivating a future where Bangladeshi women are celebrated for upholding the highest standards of womanhood, embracing their cultural heritage, and driving meaningful impact within their communities and the world.

Our Story
Miss Bangladesh US Organization emerged in 2015 as a solution to the absence of Bangladesh from international pageantry. This initiative was inspired through one woman’s vision for the genuine amplification of female voices and to provide them with a platform to develop leadership skills, inspire social change and empower all women to evolve their lives.
Through collaborative efforts with our teams in the US and Bangladesh, international franchise partners, sponsors, queens and fans, in ten years we’ve positioned ourselves as the premier organization representing Bangladeshi women in the international arena while developing and engaging female Bangladeshi thought leaders and pioneers.
